This artwork was created by Kaede, who attended Lalela through her high school career. She was always a well-mannered, diligent student who enjoyed the calming creative space that Lalela provided in a chaotic school environment. Kaede loved engaging in the debates and social discussions around social issues that the Lalela classroom activated. She is now a permanent employee at one of the biggest retail outlets in South Africa.
