What We Cherish and Renaissance Design has joined forces in an exclusive Wallpaper collection inspired by African Tribes and their cultures. This collection celebrates and proudly displays the unique, spiritual and bold people of the Himba, Xhosa and Yacouba cultures. Designed by South African designer Glorinah Khutso Mabaso, who draws inspiration from historical ancient African tribal sounds, textures, patterns, dance, architecture and natural landscapes. Her company Renaissance Design is known for it’s graphic and bespoke pattern design fuelled by her passion to re-awaken the ancient cultural knowledge on the African continent. She has taken on the challenge of becoming the mouthpiece to the ancient world using modern design as her visual language to translate their heritage and stories.
