QUAZI DESIGNS

“We craft sustainable designs for social impact, transforming waste paper into beautiful, handmade products.”

Quazi Design, based in Eswatini, Southern Africa, was founded in 2010 from a partnership between a designer and a local magazine distributor. Their mission is to create employment opportunities for local women artisans by using 100% waste paper. As a founding member of SWIFT Eswatini Fair Trade Network, they adhere to fair trade principles. Their unique techniques transform recycled magazines and newspapers into original designs, showcasing their commitment to sustainable design, ethical production, and craftsmanship. Each piece is handmade with basic tools and solar energy, reflecting their dedication to environmental responsibility and community empowerment.
